
Meet Sumeja
Sumeja Hadžalić was born on 21.1.2001. in Sarajevo. She is originally from Visoko.
She is a second-year student at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Sarajevo. Sumeja finished Medical high school as a valedictorian. During elementary and high school she participated in different competitions in math, English, physics, and writing. She represented her high school on the national level on two different occasions. Finally, when the time for applying for the universities came, she said she knew exactly what she wanted to study.
So after entrance examinations, she was among the top five students of her class.
Even when studying Sumeja takes every opportunity and chance to improve herself and to make significant results. She is part of the Students Association at her Faculty and president of the Commission for international cooperation.
Last year she was an active participant in the Commission for humanitarian work. Among studying, official college functions, and extracurricular activities, she finds extra time for her own business, called RemediesLab. RemediesLab is a personal Sumeja’s blog that she runs with her colleague. RemediesLab is the real story about the education and student life of two pharmacy students on the path to knowledge.
“Throughout the blog, we met so many great young people.”-says Sumeja. She also participated in numerous professionally-oriented student congresses as SaMED, EPSA Autumn Assembly, and right now she is participating in the "Food-Nutrition-Health" student's congress as an active participant! Sumeja distinguishes herself as a passionate and active student.
