Sarah Tutnjević was born and raised in a small city named Fojnica. She is 19 years old. She lives with her mother and brother. She finished primary and high school education in Fojnica as well, as a straight-A student.
Throughout her life, she developed a love for science, art, and literature. She enjoyed spending time reading, painting, or doing research on scientific themes, especially the ones related to physics.
In high school, she started volunteering and voluntary work, which became her new love and interest.
She has got engaged in works of many non- governmental organizations, such as ASuBiH, ONAuBiH, and Civitas. She wants to continue voluntary work but now it is pretty much more difficult than before because of the pandemic.
After high school, she decided to study Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo. She chooses it because it unifies her love for science and care for the environment.
She wants to work in the field of energetics, related to “clean”, renewable energy.
“I think that this world needs an energetic revolution, a complete switch from using toxic materials to using healthy ones. I hope that one day I’ll be able to leave an impact in that field. I want to be able to make a change, no matter how small it is.”-says Sarah.
