
Meet Sanela
Sanela Mešić, born in Tešanj, on 14th June 1995. She is raised in Kosova, near the city Maglaj where she also finished elementary and high school.
Since she has been in elementary school, she was interested in natural science subjects, both for biology and chemistry, as well as for mathematics and physics. During her elementary school and also high school education, she was a participant in many competitions from these subjects and she has achieved remarkable results.
In 2014 she graduated high school and decided to enrol at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo. The same year she became the Bosana Foundation scholarship recipient.
In 2017, she got her Bachelor's degree at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, department Electric Power Engineering. Currently, she is at the same faculty enrolled in Master studies. She hopes to become a Master of Electrical Engineering.
During the entire five years of student life, she has been a volunteer in the SOS-Kinderdorf, where she gave lessons in math, physics and English to the children who have difficulty in attending school classes. She has been a member and volunteer of the association IEEE for two years now.
„I am very happy to attend conferences and seminars where I can improve my skills and knowledge. I speak English and German. Photography is my hobby and I enjoy it. I want to be an engineer who will solve the problems and make improvements.„ –says Sanela.
