
Meet Nejra
Nejra Avdic is born on 19.2.1999. in Zenica. She finished elementary school "Hamza Humo" Babino in her hometown. Thanks to great success and numerous competitions she got the title of the best student in her generation.
After elementary school, she enrolled Gazi Husrev-beg madrasa in
Sarajevo, the oldest educational institution in the Balkans. During her madrasa education, she volunteered at many organizations and institutions such as MFS Emmaus, Home for Children Without Parental Care Bjelave, Old Town National Kitchen, AKOS "Let's Do It" project and many more. She was the deputy editor-in-chief of the school newspaper and a member of the radio editorial board of radio Bir.
Nejra is currently a first-year student at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo. She has participated in numerous seminars and workshops and has been an active volunteer in the Red Crescent of the Republic of Turkey in BiH, National Cuisine, and on the portal Akos.ba where she writes texts in the field of economics and student activism. She was the initiator and organizer of several humanitarian actions in the Student settlement "Bjelave".
"I would love to be a successful project manager in the future and
I try to use my free time in this direction. I have a great love for horses."- says Nejra.
