Meet Matea
Matea was born on June 13, 1993, in Mostar. She graduated at the University Dzemal Bijedic where she was studying humanities.
Outside of classes, Matea was an active member of Udruge BH Novinari (the Association of Bosnian & Herzegovinian Journalists).
Matea plays the violin and the piano, and in fact, she attended the musical magnet program during elementary and middle school. Since she was 15, Matea has been volunteering at children’s camps and has acted in puppet shows.
Among the notable experiences are Matea’s participation in the project NVO Ringo “Zivi Zivot” (“Live Life”) where she supervised and lead various dance and art workshops at an orphanage “Egipatsko Selo” and at the Center for Children, Youth and Family SPES in Mostar, and her volunteering at a center providing support for women diagnosed with breast cancer (“Novi Pogled”).
Matea loves people and helping others. She is thankful to Bosana Foundation to have accepted her into its family.
