Jasmina was born on June 1. 1994, in Tuzla. She lived with her mother and a younger brother. Her father left when she was only 10 years old, and, according to Jasmina, has shown no interest in her or her education ever since.

She studied Turkish language and literature in Tuzla. She believes that every human being is entitled to, and should, hope and dream, and that people without dreams and goals are mere aimless wanderers through life.

She thinks that the key to success is persistence and belief in yourself and your dreams. Jasmina’s dreams would not have been possible without this scholarship.
