
Meet Ena
Ena Kurtović was born on February 6th, 2003., in Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has raised in Bosanska Krupa, where she also lives now. She is currently in the first year of studying Computer science and Informatics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University in Bihać.
She is a diabetic since 2008., but she always managed, despite her illness to achieve great things. Ena finished High school with great success, as well as Elementary school. She is part of the Women's soccer club “Željezničar 2011”, where she started playing soccer when she turned 9 years. She is also part of the folklore ensemble “Stari Grad”, where she was, and still is, a folklore dancer. Due to her medical condition, she has a certain percentage of disability. Because of this, she earned the right to compete in the field of air rifle shooting, where she won numerous awards, the biggest being the Bronze medal at the national championship in 2021.
She volunteered, and still is, in the humanitarian Organization “Red Cross”. She also volunteers at an association for children and youth with diabetes, where she tries to help everyone who shares the same medical problem as her. Her dream is to become a programmer one day.
