She was raised by her mother as her father had died when she was only three years old. During her first year of law studies, her mother passed away.

Despite the difficult times, both personally and financially, Emina was able to excel academically, with an achieved GPA of 8.9 (out of 10.0) for the years.

She believes that the scholarship enabled her to progress academically and stabilize her life, generally. For that, Emina is eternally grateful to Bosana Foundation.
