
Meet Aida
Aida Šertović, born on 21st August 1997 in a beautiful small town Bosanska Krupa, in the north-western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. There she finished elementary and high school. In the early years of her education, she developed an interest in Mathematics and Physics and attended a lot of competitions in those fields, with good results.
While in high school, she realized she wants to pursue a career in Electrical Engineering, so currently she is at the Faculty of Technical Engineering in Bihac. In 2016, she moved from hometown to Bihac, Bosnia, and Herzegovina. A year later she joined the Bosana Foundation.
She is also a volunteer at „Save the children“, a centre for ensuring protection and proper education for kids.
She speaks both German and English and loves spending time reading books. „My main goals for the near future are finishing college, getting a masters degree and a job as an electrical engineer.“ -says Aida.
