
Meet Ahmedina
Ahmedina Smajlovic, born in Srebrenica, now living Puracic, not far from Tuzla. She finished elementary school in the home-town. Then she finished the Behram-bey madrasa in Tuzla.
Through her primary and secondary education, she has been awarded several times as the student who reads the most books. During the formal education, she volunteered at various institutions and associations for children with disabilities.
Now, Ahmedina is enrolled in the fourth year of study at the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Tuzla.
In 2016, with sixteen other top students, she participated in the project of the International Olympic Committee "Excellence Academy", after that she was also an ambassador of the same project.
At her college, she organized marking of the anti-bullying day of "Pink T-shirt" and made a promotional video sponsored by the BOSANA Foundation. She has been an active volunteer of the charity for three years where they assist the socially disadvantaged population of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
She is getting ready to finish her studies and issue a handbook about her profession. After completing her fourth year of study, Ahmedina plans to enrol in a master's and deal with social pathology.
